Gasly is not a crasher .. there was a technical problem. And again this weekend in Spain, a technical problem put Colapinto at the back of the pack (which is where he belongs anyway). Alpine is a disfunctional team, I feel badly for PG who had such high hopes when he joined the team. He is wasting his talent there. This race he has done well to qualify at the head of the "cats and dogs" herd, perhaps he will bring home some points with some skill and some luck. If I were Gasly, recognizing that my career in F1 is not infinite, I would be looking for another team to finish out my career. Alpine just cannot get out of their own way. Their car is uncompetitive, there is no point and no joy in risking your life to finish in the bottom ten.26-05-2025 14:23

Alpine appears to be a lost cause for 2025. Sad but true. Williams has moved up, the points positions are pretty much taken now. So it's back to hoping others make mistakes and that's no way to compete. Too bad because I think in the right car, PG could be a regular podium player.05-05-2025 00:34

Well I have to say wow, Gasly battling it out in Q3 with a Ferrari in front of him and another behind!!! And this is not a flash in th pan, Gasly has consistently made a strong showing in qualification since Las Vegas last year. The expectation for this tearm is now to finish in the points in every race and the aspiration is to finish on the podium if the stars line up.19-04-2025 20:14
