Sebastian Vettel has often been allowed to squirt champagne in his long Formula 1 career. However, the four-time world champion is not used to having to open the bottle himself, according to a video of the ceremony after the Race of Champions.
The Aston Martin driver narrowly missed out on the title in the prestigious race but was allowed to join winner Sebastien Loeb in the post-race festivities. The champagne was ready but had to be uncorked.
For Vettel, that proved to be one of the bigger challenges of the weekend. While Loeb - who also managed to open the bottle with some difficulty - waited, Vettel just couldn't get the cork out. To distract attention, the German eventually left the bottle and started throwing snow instead.
