A decision has been made by the stewards after Lewis Hamilton visited them after sprint qualifying at the Brazil Grand Prix.
The 40-year-old was called to the stewards' room for failing to slow under yellow flag conditions after he was eliminated early from sprint qualifying, knocking him out in SQ2 for the second successive time at Interlagos.
However, only a reprimand has been handed out to the Brit, meaning he will stay in P11 after qualifying there in Friday's sprint qualifying session.

Hamilton also saw a lap time deleted, but his fastest lap from SQ2 remained intact.
The incident occurred after teammate Charles Leclerc spun during the final few seconds of the second part of sprint qualifying, bringing out the double-waved yellow flags in the process.
As is always the case, drivers must slow down and prepare to stop when yellow flags are waving, resulting in several people having their laps ruined as they were forced to slow down and abandon their laps.

However, Hamilton was noted for a double yellow flag infringement, which then led to him being investigated by the stewards as well.
Despite the visit to the stewards and the deleted lap time, Hamilton will not lose any positions and will hold onto his 11th place for Saturday's Sprint race, hoping to turn around Ferrari's struggles at Interlagos.
