Ferrari provides massive update on Hamilton's race engineer Riccardo Adami

The Scuderia Ferrari team has confirmed that Riccardo Adami will no longer serve as Lewis Hamilton’s race engineer for the upcoming season.

The Italian team announced that Adami will be moved to a new role within the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy as Driver Academy and Test Previous Cars Manager, where his extensive trackside experience and Formula 1 expertise will contribute to the development of future talent and strengthen the performance culture across the program.

The Maranello-based outfit expressed gratitude to the Italian engineer for his commitment and contribution in his trackside role, wishing him every success in his new position. Ferrari also confirmed that the appointment of Hamilton’s new race engineer will be announced in due course.

This report comes after the Ferrari team had previously indicated that Adami and Bryan Bozzi would continue in their roles as race engineers for Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, respectively, for the upcoming campaign.
