Red Bull Racing will launch the RB22, Max Verstappen’s new F1 car, on January 15, 2026, with the event taking place in Detroit, USA, home to the headquarters of new engine partner, Ford.
Not only will Red Bull Racing’s car be unveiled, but the Racing Bulls car as well, with the event a joint launch for both Red Bull teams, GPblog has learned.
It remains to be seen whether the actual RB22 will be showcased or if only the livery will be revealed. In the past, Red Bull has often shown its F1 cars to the world at the very last moment and presented the previous year’s car during the launch.

The presentation of the new Red Bull and Racing Bulls cars comes very early in 2026. With the new technical regulations coming into effect next year, the first tests are also much earlier than usual. From January 26 to 30, the first test days will take place in Barcelona. These will be behind closed doors.
From February 11 to 13, there will be a three-day test in Bahrain. A third and final test will take place there from February 18-20.
