Lando Norris can clinch his first F1 title tomorrow in the Qatar Grand Prix: here's what needs to happen.
With the Sprint behind him — where he minimized the damage, losing just two points to his teammate and gaining one on Max Verstappen — the Englishman can already clinch the World Championship mathematically in tomorrow’s race.
To do so, he simply needs to finish ahead of Verstappen in any position to rule him out completely, while against his teammate Piastri, the finishing order must reflect their current points gap.
f Norris finishes first, Piastri must finish second; if Norris is second, Piastri must be third; and so on, down to a fourth-place finish for Norris requiring Piastri to finish fifth.

As mentioned earlier, Norris can be considered reasonably satisfied with his third-place finish in the Sprint, which allows him to approach tomorrow’s race with cautious optimism, given the prime opportunity to wrap up the championship a race early.
Norris now leads the standings with 396 points, 22 ahead of Piastri and 25 clear of Verstappen, with the Dutchman now looking like the driver with the smallest chance of taking the title.
Here’s the full championship standings after the Sprint.
