Lewis Hamilton's tenure at Ferrari did not begin as it was expected. The Briton is yet to score a podium at a Grand Prix, and is only in sixth position in the drivers' standings. In Italian media, there are rising rumours about the British driver not being listened to enough, with Frederic Vasseur also being on the edge of getting replaced.
Ahead of the previous weekend in Barcelona, the seven-time world champion was asked about his relationship with his race engineer, Riccardo Adami. Then, he explained the relationship is fine, however, the Daily Mail reported Ferrari are looking to replace Adami.
The results are on track are not encouraging either, as Hamilton could only score two podiums in the two Sprint events: he led from start to finish in China, and then with a strategy call by the driver in terms of when to swap for dry tyres, he finished third in Miami.
Moreover, compared to the start of the season, it seems like the tone of the British driver changed again. While even if results did not go his way, at the beginning, Hamilton sounded a lot more optimistic about getting used to his new challenge at Ferrari. Since then however, he returned to talk in a way he did during his final seasons with Mercedes.

'Ferrari do not listen to Hamilton'

Causing frustration within the team are not only the results, but also communication seems to be an issue. Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera marked that the Briton seems to be in crisis, which also comes because of the aforementioned reason.
The website also questions the team's decision to sign Hamilton, which as a result seems like only happened for the sensation it was, as the F1 world was took by storm when the first appeared in Maranello.
What bringing in Hamilton could only achieve was to raise Charles Leclerc's value, they added.
In addition to that, a screenshot was taken where the Briton allegedly liked a post criticising not only the car, but the disconnect between the squad and the driver. It was shortly removed after, and the authenticity of the screenshot cannot be verified, nor can it be confirmed whether it was actually Lewis Hamilton’s official account. And even if it was, it could also be an accident as well.
Undoubtedly, the Briton will shortly have to answer to questions about the matter, as he is scheduled to be present at the FIA press conference this evening.
