Lewis Hamilton's life has not been the easiest after the distress he's endured following his inability to live up to the expectations attached his move to Ferrari. Nevertheless, the Brit isn't keen on giving up.

It's been a rollercoaster ride for Hamilton at Ferrari, with substantially more lows than highs, unfortunately.

The lows have been so low that his last run of races he's not been able to make it to Q3, whilst the lowest his teammate Charles Leclerc has placed has been P3 on the last two qualifying rounds, nabbing a miracle pole last time out in Hungary.

The Hungarian Grand Prix weekend was particularly painful given Hamilton's self criticism, calling himself useless, bringing into question his post-summer break return, and even urging Ferrari to 'swap drivers' at one point.

Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur responded to his comments and criticised his emotionality as 'extreme'.

A renewed Hamilton refuses to yield in the face of difficulties

The Briton took to Instagram to reflect on his summer experiences and made a vow as he looked ahead to the future.

"I’m always so grateful for this time, for the opportunity to rest and recharge.

"There’s a lot I’ve been meditating on. Every one of us is up against so much, both individually and globally," he added recognising the challenges ahead.

"It’s so important that we embrace the light of truth and love and take care of ourselves so that we can better take care of others.

He ultimately concluded with a fitting: "We can’t look away. We have to keep going, even when it’s difficult."
