The Alpine F1 team has revealed a special livery for the upcoming three grand prix in the United States, Mexico and Brazil.
“Racing with Mercado Libre's colours is very special for me.”- Alpine F1 Driver Franco Colapinto
The Alpine A525 will feature striking yellow accents as the Enstone outfit celebrate their partnership with Argentinian e-commerce site Mercado Libre.
Earlier this year Alpine announced a new strategic partnership with Mercado Libre, who sponsor their Argentinian driver Franco Colapinto.
The new livery is designed to raise awareness of Mercado Libre's campaign 'United by speed', in collaboration with South American sports stars like Neymar Jr. and Franco Colapinto.
Sean Summers, CMO of Mercado Libre, said: “We share with BWT Alpine Formula One Team - and with Franco Colapinto - the same passion for speed and excellence.
"This partnership allows us to bring the spirit of our fast deliveries and innovation to the world's top motorsport competition, which is Formula One.”
Franco Colapinto said: “Racing with Mercado Libre's colours is very special for me.
"It means bringing a brand to the track that was born in my country and now represents millions of Latin Americans on a global stage."
The e-commerce site revealed a similar livery last year when the sponsored Williams F1 team, who had Colapinto as their driver.
The yellow livery was revealed exactly 20 years to the day that the Enstone team won their first constructors championship as Renault - who were remembered for their famous blue and yellow design.
BWT Alpine Formula One Team Global Marketing Director Guy Martin said: “We joined forces with Mercado Libre as part of a global strategy to connect with new audiences who are passionate about Formula One."
"We share Mercado Libre's vision of combining innovation, speed, and teamwork, and we're thrilled to bring this collaboration to the racetracks in Austin, Mexico City, and São Paulo.”
