In SQ2, Lewis Hamilton was eliminated. The Scuderia Ferrari driver failed to reach the chequered flag quickly enough before the end of the session. The seven-time world champion, who qualified in 11th place, will be joined by Alex Albon, Pierre Gasly, Gabriel Bortoleto, and rookie Oliver Bearman.
