The Cadillac F1 outfit has hit the track with its new livery ahead of the second round of pre-season testing in Bahrain.
The American-based outfit, which recently unveiled its paint scheme for its debut Formula 1 season at the Super Bowl event, took to the Bahrain International Circuit for its first on-track running with the new colours.
The running, which was part of the team’s promotional filming day, featured both drivers, Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas, taking to the track at intervals in Sakhir.

Both drivers, who continue to spearhead the Cadillac F1 project, will now shift their focus to the upcoming round of pre-season testing, set to take place between February 11 and 13 at the circuit in Bahrain.
Both Cadillac drivers have since reacted to the feat the team achieved, both with the unveiling of its split livery and the testing that took place in Bahrain. Perez, reacting via the team’s press statement, dubbed the event as important.
The Mexican further detailed how it highlights the effort being put in to achieve success by the American team.
“Yesterday and today mark another important step in the team’s Formula 1 journey. Launching our livery for the season is a special moment for everyone involved because it really highlights the level of effort being put in to push the boundaries as we enter the sport for the first time,” Perez said.

“We now have a great opportunity to build on this momentum across the upcoming Bahrain tests as we keep learning more about what the car is capable of. I know our fans will be cheering for us as we go racing in this livery and continue our journey together,” he concluded.
Teammate Bottas also expressed his delight with the feat achieved by the Fisher-based outfit. The Finnish driver described it as an impressive way to launch for the team.
“To go from revealing our livery at the Super Bowl to running it on track almost immediately after is an impressive way to launch our first season. It makes everything feel very real and it’s exciting to see all the hard work come to life,” Bottas said.

The former Mercedes driver continued by highlighting that the team’s focus now shifts to maximising every lap of pre-season testing in Bahrain.
“The team has done an incredible job designing the first-ever Cadillac Formula 1 Team livery. We’re now fully focused on maximising every lap during pre-season testing to understand the car’s package and put us in the best position possible to hit the ground running in Melbourne. I can’t wait for fans to see the car on track and to have their support behind us. I’m proud to represent the team as we edge closer to going racing,” Bottas concluded.
Earlier, Perez admitted that finishing last at the end of the season would be a big disappointment for the Cadillac outfit.
The Mexican highlighted the effort the team has put into its maiden year to ensure it doesn’t finish at the tail end of the grid during the new campaign.
