The Canadian Grand Prix is based in North America, meaning it will be late for the rest of the world. You can find out when to watch the race here, and read on to find out where to watch!

Where to watch the 2025 Canadian Grand Prix

If you live in the United Kingdom, you have the option of Sky Sports and its subsidiaries (such as NowTV), as they have the exclusive broadcasting rights to Formula 1 live. The British channel will show each session, along with previews and interviews before and after the race.
After the race has concluded, you can find highlights on Channel 4, F1 TV, and Formula 1’s YouTube Channel. Watching on F1 TV or F1 TV Pro is only an option after the race due to Sky Sports’ rights deal.
However, the two streaming options are available for those in the United States. All events can be followed via the F1 TV subscription or other streaming services like YouTube TV. ESPN also has extensive Formula 1 coverage throughout the race weekend.

What’s at stake this weekend

Heading into the Canadian Grand Prix, the two biggest things to note are the fight between the two McLaren drivers and Max Verstappen’s possible race ban.
Verstappen has fallen behind Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, leaving the fight to them for the moment. Verstappen is 49 points off Piastri and 39 off Norris.
He also has to be careful this weekend not to receive another penalty point, as that will trigger a race ban for one race weekend, thus hurting his championship bid even further.
Only 10 point sit between Piastri and Norris, keeping both of them in a close fight to the finish.
Another fight to watch out for is the fight for second place in the constructors' championship. Ferrari jumped from fourth to second after the Spanish Grand Prix, but Mercedes and Red Bull Racing are right behind them.
