Charles Leclerc has some special plans to prepare for the 2026 Formula 1 season.

Leclerc and Ferrari had a difficult season in 2025. The Italian team failed to record a single victory, and they ended up finishing fourth in the constructors' standings behind McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull Racing.
The Monegasque driver has a special trip planned for the off-season. Together with his fiancee, Alexandra Saint Mleux, he is set to travel to Antarctica.
In a video for UniCredit, Leclerc explained: "I'm doing a very, very special trip. I'm going to Antarctica.
"That's going to be one way of recharging the batteries. Obviously, there will be a lot of training there, but not only to learn more about that very special place in the world and various different things that I'm really looking forward to understanding a bit more and to get more insight into what it's like on site."
Aside from his trip, Leclerc will also have to complete his regular tasks as well. "Then obviously lots of preparation as soon as I'm back in Maranello for the new year. Lots of simulator and work in order to get ready for the season ahead," he added.

Leclerc's teammate, Lewis Hamilton also endured a difficult debut year at the Italian team.
The Monegasque driver is confident that the seven-time world champion will be able to find form next year.
He told GPblog: "I think Lewis has always been extremely motivated. It’s been a tough end to the season for Lewis, but not just for him — for the whole team as well, as the car has become increasingly difficult to drive. But I’m sure we’ll all be back next year.”
