The Briton extends his championship lead significantly, taking 15 crucial points out of his teammate and now holding a 24-point advantage with three weekends remaining.

A strong recovery for Max Verstappen helps him limit the damage with P3, gaining important points on Piastri but losing another seven to Norris, who now leads by 49 points.

The Dutchman put in a stellar comeback, making up position after position with impressive pace, overtaking George Russell for podium in the closing stages thanks to his soft tyres.
