Max Verstappen has not received any penalty points in his home race in the Netherlands, but still tops the list of drivers. A suspension is no longer imminent, after there was a threat earlier in the season. Others did receive points in Zandvoort, though.

The Dutchman was safe in his homeland, but the FIA did hand out points to a number of other teams. Lewis Hamilton received 2 points for an incident under the double yellow flag. Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli received two for the incident with Charles Leclerc, who did not finish the race as a result. Carlos Sainz also received 2 penalty points for a tap against Liam Lawson on the circuit in the dunes.

Penalty points will be removed from Max Verstappen again on October 27, 2025. Exactly one year earlier, he received 2 points for 'forcing another driver off the track'. The victim? Lando Norris in the Mexico GP. After that, he will lose a point in November and again in December.

The overview has been updated after the GP of the Netherlands on August 31, 2025.
