In a race heavily defined by strategy, it was Lando Norris who came out on top at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Despite a poor start, the Brit managed to take the chequered flag first thanks to a one-stop strategy and excellent tyre management, holding off a late charge from Piastri in the closing laps.
It was a disastrous outing for Charles Leclerc, who had led the early stages of the race but lost significant ground after his second stop, eventually falling behind George Russell. Another day to forget for Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, who finished ninth and twelfth respectively.
