Max Verstappen, regardless of the outcome, is set to make history in Formula One yet again.

Verstappen joins Hamilton

Max Verstappen is driving his 200th Grand Prix for Red Bull Racing this Sunday. Only Lewis Hamilton has managed to do this in his career as well. The seven-time world champion drove a total of 246 races for Mercedes before he switched to Ferrari.

The Hungarian Grand Prix will be Verstappen's 223rd F1 Grand Prix. Two hundred of these he will have driven with the Austrian racing stable after the chequered flag drops in a few hours from now, with the rest being run in Red Bull's sister team then named Toro Rosso.

On the occasion of the quadruple world champion's anniversary race, various people around Verstappen have recalled memories about him. This included the Dutchman receiving compliments from Zak Brown and Helmut Marko discussing Verstappen's loyal personality.

Verstappen will start his 200th Grand Prix with Red Bull from the eighth position. Just before the race in Budapest, he shared his latest thoughts on the competition. The Dutchman will do his best to compete at the front, but he couldn't really say what he expects from the race.
