F1 rookie offers contrasting view after Verstappen’s harsh verdict on new rules

Lindblad unfazed by Verstappen’s criticism of regulation changes
During testing in Bahrain, the four-time world champion did not hold back in sharing his views on the new generation of cars and the revised regulations, going as far as describing the new machines as “a Formula E on steroids.”
The Dutchman’s remarks inevitably caused a stir in the paddock, as expected, with several drivers being asked the same question about their views on the new cars.
One of them was Lindblad, who is set to make his full Formula 1 debut, and speaking to GPblog among other media, he said he was fairly unbothered by the situation: “If I'm being honest, it's not really something I think about, because it's something I can control, it is the way it is. I'm just very focused on working hard with the team, try to understand the package, understand the PU, and get the most out of it. I think it's an exciting new challenge.”

Both Lando Norris and the Mercedes driver took a different view from Verstappen when it comes to the new cars.
“You can't argue with the amount of power you have when you get the full 350 kilowatts. But I also think it's going to progress a huge amount in the coming months. So, we've got to give it time.”
