Final starting grid confirmed for the Italian Grand Prix

The FIA have announced the final starting grid for the Italian Grand Prix, which has seen some changes since yesterday's qualifying session.

Max Verstappen earned himself his fifth pole position of the 2025 season with a record-breaking lap around Monza to pip Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri to P1.

The Dutchman will be hoping he can hold off the papaya-coloured cars over the course of the race to earn what would be just his third race win of the campaign.

Two pit lane starts, but no changes at the front

The FIA has now confirmed the starting grid for the Italian Grand Prix, and there are no changes at the front of the grid, meaning Verstappen, Norris, and Piastri will all start in the top three.

Verstappen goes agaisnt the grain with different tyre allocation in Monza

Charles Leclerc will start P4 in front of the Tifosi, while Lewis Hamilton will move back to P10 after qualifying fifth due to a five-place grid penalty that carried over from the Dutch Grand Prix.

As a resulr, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli will lock out the third row of the grid in P5 and P6, with Gabriel Bortoleto and his manager Fernando Alonso starting on the row behind in P7 and P8, both ahead of Yuki Tsunda in P9.

At the back of the grid, Parc Ferme breaches for Isack Hadjar and Pierre Gasly saw them replace multiple parts to their car, resulting in a pit lane start for the pair of them.
