After Yuki Tsunoda was nearly in an incident with Lando Norris in Abu Dhabi, he ended up making contact with Kimi Antonelli through no fault of his own.

As the young Italian was exiting his garage, Tsunoda was already in the fast lane. By the time Antonelli saw the RB21, he could not avoid making contact.

The unsafe release is under investigation by the stewards in Abu Dhabi.

Over the team radio, the Japanese driver said: "I had a massive crash, ****."

Antonelli was also surprised: "Ah man, Yuki... You told me yes and it was... Tsunoda was coming."

Tsunoda himself is also investigated by the stewards for an incident with Norris, after two nearly made contact in Turn 12.

It's not the first time drivers made contact in the pit lane this season, after Charles Leclerc previously hit Norris in a similar way at the Singapore Grand Prix.
