Hamilton's difficult season continues in Hungary after a shocking Q2 elimination, the SF25 number 44 will start in P12 in tomorrow's race. Also Antonelli negative streak continues with another start from the back of the grid.
Lewis Hamilton was eliminated in Q2 during a tightly contested qualifying session at the Hungarian Grand Prix and will start from P12 on Sunday. The Ferrari driver set a lap time of 1:15.702 — just 0.015 seconds away from Gabriel Bortoleto in P10 — narrowly missing the cut for Q3.
Hamilton will start directly behind fellow Ferrari driver Oliver Bearman, who secured P11 with a solid performance, continuing to impress in his rookie campaign.
His teammate Charles Leclerc, comfortably made it through to Q3 and ended the Q2 session in P6 with a 1:15.455, showing competitive pace but falling short of the front row.
Mercedes’ Andrea Kimi Antonelli was also knocked out in Q2. His best effort was deleted for a track limits violation, though it would not have been enough to advance. He will start from P15.
