Charles Leclerc will treat all championship contenders the same way during Sunday's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
"That championship title thing will not be in my head because it's not my job to be here to favour one or the other."- Charles Leclerc
The 2025 Formula 1 title will be decided during the season finale at the Yas Marina Circuit.
Lando Norris currently leads Max Verstappen by 12 points, and Oscar Piastri by 16 points in the drivers' standings.
While George Russell said he is looking to gain from the Dutchman trying to hold the pack up, none of that is on Leclerc's mind, the Ferrari driver told GPblog after qualifying in Abu Dhabi. The Monegasque driver will line up in fifth place on the grid.

He said: "To be honest, I don't even want to know all these scenarios whatsoever because it's quite stressful to be in that position.
"In my head there will be none of that going into tomorrow's race. The only thing that will be in my head is how can I maximize my performance and the result of Ferrari.
"If that means doing everything at that particular moment when they are behind to try and slow them down I'll do that.
"If that means not fight with them because for my strategy it's better to not fight with them, I won't fight them. And no, that championship title thing will not be in my head because it's not my job to be here to favour one or the other."
