Racing Bulls have unveiled a striking new livery for the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA).
The Faenza-based outfit announced the launch in partnership with Cash App and American country singer Shaboozey. The livery, which aligns with VCARB’s mission to blend music, motorsport, and American culture, features a pearlescent black and amber tortoiseshell pattern on the VCARB 02 car.
Drivers Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar, along with their pit crew, will also sport outfits inspired by this special one-off design for this weekend’s race.
The livery also draws inspiration from the brand-new Cash App Tortoise Card, a prepaid debit card currently available in the United States.
The special livery announced by the Racing Bulls marks the third time the team will run a unique design on its car this season, following the Miami Grand Prix and the race at Silverstone.
At the Miami Grand Prix, the team opted for a pink colour scheme to highlight the launch of a new Red Bull-flavoured drink. At the British Grand Prix, it ran a livery celebrating one of its sponsors, with Nigerian artist Slawn adorning the VCARB 02 with caricature-style street art.
Racing Bulls chief Peter Bayer reacted to the launch of his team’s livery for the United States Grand Prix. The team CEO detailed how the design reflects American culture, while noting that such liveries are fast becoming part of the team’s identity.
“Once again, we’ve tapped into culture in a way that’s uniquely VCARB. These special liveries become part of our identity in moments where motorsport intersects with music, fashion, and creativity.”
The special livery unveiled by the Racing Bulls outfit comes shortly after the Haas team revealed a unique American-inspired design for its home race.
