Andrea Kimi Antonelli's not having the easiest of times in F1, and after coming back from the summer break reset, the Italian has seen his Dutch Grand Prix weekend go awry before it even truly began.
Not 15 minutes had gone by when the Italian driver found himself in trouble. Into the end of the second sector, on the double right-hander, the Mercedes rookie's session came to an end.
Slowing down to make his way to the final corner before the straight that leads drivers into the beginning of the third and final sector, Antonelli found himself understeering.
As the car's speed reduced, the Italian couldn't steer his way out of danger, and Zandvoort, known for its unforgiving nature, spared Antonelli nothing. The Italian's car was beached, the red flag came out and the session came to a halt. It's since resumed, and you can review all the action in our liveblog here!
