During the São Paulo Grand Prix weekend, Daniel Ricciardo opted to watch some football in the United Kingdom.
While the Australian's former Red Bull Racing teammate Sebastian Vettel was present at Interlagos, Ricciardo was instead in London to watch some football the previous weekend.
The former Formula 1 driver attended last Sunday’s Premier League match between Brentford and Newcastle United, where Sky Sports’ cameras spotted him in the stands.
The driver was pictured when Newcastle were in the lead, but Brentford completed the comeback to claim a 3–1 victory.

The Australian driver left Formula 1 following the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix, after he was replaced by Liam Lawson at VCARB. Since then, he has not competed in any other series but has become an ambassador for Ford.
He said in September: "While my racing days are behind me, my love for anything with wheels will always remain high and for that I am proud to be partnering with Ford to become a Global Ford Racing Ambassador.
"So why now and why me? When I decided it was time to retire, I thought long and hard about finding the most authentic way to stay connected to the world of motorsports. For me, racing was always about having fun. It made me happy and created memories that will last a lifetime."
