Audi has offered a first major clue about what next year’s car will look like.
Audi continues its preparations ahead of what will be its historic Formula 1 debut in 2026, the year Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will have the chance to represent the Neuburg-based team.
For Audi, entering motorsport’s premier class represents a major showcase, especially given how the electric component in the new-generation power units will play a significant role, balancing out the internal combustion element in what promises to be a massive technical challenge for the engineers.
Through its website, the German team has revealed the presentation date for the livery concept of its 2026 car, with the countdown set to expire at 11 a.m. BST on November 12. The launch of the actual car has obviously not yet been scheduled, but as with all other teams, it will take place in January.

No team has yet confirmed a launch date for their next-generation F1 cars. GPblog understands that Red Bull has set the launch date of the RB22 for January 15, 2026.
The event will be held in Detroit, USA, the home of Red Bull’s new engine partner, Ford. GPblog has learned that it will be a joint launch, showcasing both Red Bull Racing’s car and the Racing Bulls entry.
It’s still unclear whether the RB22 itself will be unveiled or if the event will focus solely on its livery as Red Bull has often kept its cars under wraps until the last moment.
