A resurfaced clip has gone viral after Daniel Ricciardo’s latest accident in Australia, putting on display Max Verstappen's fortune telling skills.joking about the exact scenario years earlier.

The former Red Bull, Renault and McLaren driver was taken to Mossman Hospital in northern Queensland this week after a dirt bike crash in the Daintree region, where he reportedly suffered a minor collarbone injury.

Ricciardo's mood, who turned 36 last month, was reportedly good while receiving treatment.

The incident comes just a year following his exit from the then named Visa Cash App RB team, with Liam Lawson brought up to take over the drive at the Red Bull sister team.

Verstappen 'the fortune teller'

The viral clip features Ricciardo and Verstappen in a joint interview during the 2024 F1 season, where Ricciardo was asked how he would spend a day with Verstappen in Australia.

Ricciardo suggested dirt bike riding, to which Verstappen laughed: “Break a leg… And then we call Red Bull and we’re like: ‘We can’t do the next four races because Daniel’s collarbone has gone!’”

Ricciardo jokingly protested: “No, don’t say that!” The prediction proved eerily accurate after Ricciardo’s real-life crash this week.
