Verstappen laughs about family vacation: 'That's the standard!'

Max Verstappen had everyone laughing with a comment about his family vacation during the summer break. The Red Bull driver was asked what the best part of the holiday was. His response was as follows.

Verstappen was asked what he enjoyed most about his holiday during the summer break in Formula 1. “Spending time with friends and family”, was the serious answer from the Dutchman to the question. His response was followed up with another question. “Okay, so not eating and drinking or is it?”, to which Verstappen said: “I thought that was standard”, followed by some laughter.

Verstappen on a family vacation before Formula 1 restarts

Verstappen was able to enjoy a family holiday with girlfriend Kelly Piquet, mother Sophie Kumpen, and sister Victoria Verstappen among others. The daughters of the Brazilian were present and Victoria's children were also present. They all shared images from the holiday on social media.

The summer break is now over. The upcoming weekend will see a race in the Dutch dunes, as the Zandvoort is next on the Formula 1 schedule.
