Max Verstappen has recently proven time and time again, his allegiance to Red Bull Racing, however, pending the hierarchical revamp incoming in 2026, the Dutchman could very well make the move to Ferrari.

Recently the Dutchman opened up on the conditions that such a move would require, in statements to GPblog during media day at the Italian Grand Prix.

Following up on those comments, the Dutchman was asked if there was a chance that he would ever drive for Ferrari.

"I don't know," he said to GPblog.

"The thing was also, they have two drivers contracted for next year anyway, right?", referring to Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton who are fixed in their seats come next season.

"So, then there is no discussion anyway," he reasserted, brushing off any past chances of a potential swap to Ferrari, which evidently came undone as well in light of his Hungarian Grand Prix announcement to continue on at Red Bull Racing in 2026.

"Now, is there a chance?", Verstappen then wondered aloud.

"Yeah, there are a lot of chances in life for any kind of decision," he ventured opening the door once again to a tenure in the iconic scarlet red team.

"So, for me [no], because at the moment that [a Ferrari drive] was not on the horizon.

"But you know, I don't even know how long I'm driving in Formula One [for]," he concluded reaffirming the possibility once again.
