This week, Max Verstappen and his fellow Formula 1 drivers are preparing for the Dutch Grand Prix after a four-week break. On Tuesday afternoon, his private jet made a stop in England, as revealed by the X account VerstappenJet.

Before heading to the Netherlands, Verstappen’s aircraft was picked up on radar over England. The Red Bull Racing driver landed near Milton Keynes, home to the team’s factory.

It seems likely that a quick visit there was the reason for the detour just days before the Dutch Grand Prix. The stop was brief, however, as the Red Bull driver’s jet was soon back in the air.

Verstappen back in action

Verstappen is back in action at the Dutch Grand Prix this weekend, with the grandstands once again set to be awash in orange as fans cheer on their home hero.

The Dutchman has taken victory in three of the four races held at Circuit Zandvoort so far. Last year, however, it was Lando Norris who came out on top, celebrating in memorable fashion.

At present, Verstappen sits third in the championship, well adrift of Oscar Piastri and Norris. The McLaren pair are locked in a title fight, standing 97 and 88 points clear of the Dutchman.

Verstappen, meanwhile, also has to keep an eye on the competition behind him, with George Russell just fifteen points back.
