Former Formula 1 team and sponsorship manager, and now F1 analyst, Peter Windsor, believes that a lacklustre Lewis Hamilton will find some form at the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix.
It's been a hugely difficult start for the seven-time world champion at Ferrari, only finishing inside the top five twice out of the nine Grands Prix so far in the 2025 season, struggling to find pace to keep up with teammate Charles Leclerc.
However, coming into the tenth race of the season at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, the Australian can see the 40-year-old finding his form, with Hamilton hoping to continue his streak of never being outqualified by his teammate on Saturday.
“I think he will go well in Canada," Windsor explained on his YouTube channel.
"I don't think he would like to concede that any circuit suits him more than others these days, and no race driver does. But I think some of the areas in Barcelona, Imola, perhaps even Monaco, that have separated Leclerc from Hamilton that don't really exist in Canada. So, I think he will be good.”

Ferrari to find their way to the front of the grid?

Despite a sprint race win at the Chinese Grand Prix, along with a P3 during the sprint race at the Miami Grand Prix, Hamilton sits on 71 points in the drivers' standings, only good enough for P6 as he continues to search for his first Grand Prix podium of the season.
However, despite disappointing results, Ferrari currently sits second in the constructors' standings, with the podium finish achieved by Charles Leclerc at the Spanish Grand Prix allowing the Scuderia to overtake Mercedes. Windsor can see the Italian team continuing that upward trend in Canada this weekend.
Canada nullifies some of the things we have seen over the last two or three races. Ferrari won't be slow in a straight line, and I think they will be pretty good in high-speed braking, and the rest of it will be up to the drivers, and they are really good around there," the 73-year-old states on how he thinks Ferrari will fare around the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
However, he also warns fans of the Scuderia to watch out for the rest of the grid: "I think Ferrari will be there, but then again, I can't imagine Mercedes being slow, or Red Bull, or, of course, McLaren, so it could be very close,” concluded Windsor.
