It is clear that Lewis Hamilton 's fans were not happy with the course of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Especially the decisions of race director Michael Masi around the safety car were not happy. Many fans decided to send a hate message to Masi, only many of them did so to the wrong person.
Hate messages for wrong "Masi"
Michael Masini has been inundated with all sorts of nasty messages directed at him in recent days from people who think he is Michael Masi, Formula One's race director. "I am happy to say that I am not Michael Masi of Formula 1. Thank God," Masini wrote in a post on his Instagram page.
Hamilton fans believe Hamilton was deprived of the title by wrong decisions made by Masi and the stewards. Nicholas Latifi, whose crash caused the safety car to break down, also received many hate messages on social media. Masini can fortunately still laugh about it. "He [Masi] seems like a great guy, but maybe he made a mistake... I don't know."

Its not just Lewis Hamilton fans. It is every person that is not a Redbull fan or a Hamilton hater. Everyone else saw it for what it was. There are more fans of the sport out there than just Hamilton or Max fans. Every neutral person knows that the integrity of the sport was compromised way more than ever before by the ridiculous actions of Masi and they're not happy. This is much bigger than just Hamiltons fans. Real fans of motorsport are upset by this and rightly so.
