It was Verstappen's weekend at the Circuit of the Americas. After the Dutchman won the Sprint, he was victorious at the US Grand Prix as well.
He also gained important points on the two McLaren drivers, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, in the title battle. Is it the driver, or is it the car? Read our feature here!
Meanwhile, the Australian and the Briton had a rather disappointing day. Norris was stuck behind Charles Leclerc's Ferrari for a long time, while Piastri finished fifth.
As a result, the Red Bull Racing driver now trails Piastri by 40 points in the standings.
On the other hand, Ferrari seemingly got the strategy spot on this weekend, as Leclerc and Hamilton finished third and fourth respectively.
