
Aston Martin has been the first team to announce their 2026 car launch date.
The team which will be lead by F1 car designing guru Adrian Newey as of 2026 has been the first to announce its car launch date.
The Silverstone-based outfit will present its car on February 9th, just ten days after the behind-closed-doors test in Barcelona - scheduled from 26 January to 30 - come to an end.
The car named AMR26, will represent a first of many for the British racing green coloured team, since it will be the first car built and designed fully under Newey's technical supervision, and it will also premiere the exclusive collaboration with power unit supplier Honda.
For 2026 Aston Martin has confirmed it will continue to field its current line up of two-time world champion Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll.
Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls had previously announced they would unveil their cars' liveries for the 2026 season in a joint launch with Red Bull Powertrains engine partner, Ford, at the American manufacturer's Headquarters in Detroit Michigan on 15 January. Read the full story here.
