More exciting news regarding the future of Formula 1 has come out! First it was the Mexico City Grand Prix and now it's the Miami Grand Prix! It has been announced that the 'Sunshine State' will continue to be visited by Formula 1 until 2041.
The Miami Grand Prix was introduced to the Formula 1 calendar in 2022. So far, only two drivers have won at the Miami International Autodrome; Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. Now, with its new contract extension the other drivers will have until 2041 to win at the Miami track!
Miami Grand Prix to stay
The Miami Grand Prix is not the only race that has recently released the news of a contract extension. Many races are being extended. However, the most recent announcement, the
Mexico City Grand Prix, was only extended until 2028. With its new contract, the Miami Grand Prix is the longest-standing race contract currently held.
