The drivers’ standings took a shake-up following the conclusion of the Italian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen coasted to victory at the Temple of Speed, outpacing the McLarens.

The Red Bull Racing driver, who started on pole following his record-breaking qualifying lap, led for most of the Monza race to clinch his third victory of the season.

The McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri largely struggled to put up a fight against the four-time world champion. The duo, however, settled for respective podium finishes.

Scuderia Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton were also relatively impressive, with Hamilton making significant progress through the field and Leclerc finishing his race in fourth place.

George Russell also picked up significant points with a fifth-place finish. However, it was Verstappen who reigned supreme at the iconic Temple of Speed, securing a commanding race win for the Red Bull team. With that being said, here is the updated drivers’ standings following the Italian Grand Prix. The next race is in two weeks' time at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix where Verstappen will be looking to remain in the hunt and take the fight to Norris and Piastri.
