Despite feeling he could have gained a few more positions, he emphasized that reaching Q3 was his main objective.
Tsunoda also addressed the RB21’s performance, warning that the car is “not fast.” He acknowledged the team is continuously pushing and bringing upgrades, though he sees the improvements as minor details rather than major performance leaps. He stressed that progress is being made, even if the car’s pace is limited.
Max Verstappen, speaking to GPBlog responded to Rosberg’s compliment with his characteristic humor, saying, "I don't need his confirmation," followed by a loud laugh. The Dutch driver’s lighthearted reaction reflected both his confidence and the strong performances he had been showing during the weekend.
Verstappen credited his positive results not only to his own driving but also to the progress Red Bull Racing has made with the car. He explained that the team now understands better how to set up the car, allowing them to make smaller, more effective improvements each session, which helped in qualifying.
