Lewis Hamilton has revealed his focus with the Scuderia Ferrari team for the final six races of the 2025 season.
“The sole focus—to get good results.”- Lewis Hamilton
Speaking during the press conference ahead of the United States Grand Prix, the British driver stated how he and the team are concentrating on refining their overall processes, before stating his focus remains to record good results in the final races of the campaign.
“I’m really looking at the next six races as, ultimately, test weekends in terms of continuing to learn and improve on our processes,” he said.
“There’s been a couple of gems through the weekend that we didn’t capitalise on. It’s about taking those good bits and continuing to take what works and change what doesn’t. That’s what we’re trying to do moving forward—continuing to build on the relationships, continuing to build on communication.”
“Everyone back at the factory really deserves a good result, and that’s the sole focus—to get good results, try to maximise, squeeze absolutely every point we can out of our performances on the weekends. I really believe we can do that. So we just stay focused," the Brit concluded.
Hamilton and the Ferrari team have witnessed what earlier appeared to be an in-season uptick, dip quite swiftly, particularly following the resumption of the summer break. The seven-time champion has only been able to muster a race-high sixth-place finish - best since the British Grand Prix - with the team.
Last time out at the Singapore Grand Prix, Hamilton finished the race in eighth place after receiving a five-second time penalty for a track limits violation.
Hamilton also expressed confidence in a resurgence following his forgettable outing at the Singapore Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver explained how there remains untapped potential for the team to maximise at the race in Austin.
The 40-year-old who boasts the record for the most race victories at the Circuit of the Americas - six- also maintains overall optimism about the Ferrari team despite its recent form.
Ferrari’s recent challenge has seen former Red Bull Racing team principal linked with the team, something which Hamilton was quick to shut down.
