Christian Horner and former F1 driver Martin Brundle have discussed Max Verstappen's baby's astonishing bloodline: has the first female F1 champion been born?
Following FP1 for the Miami Grand Prix, Horner and Brundle talked about Verstappen's new role as father to his baby girl, Lily.
"It's great news for Max and Kelly, and their family. It's great, it's really a big thing becoming a father, and Max is super proud and rightly so," said Horner in conversation with Brundle's during Sky Sports broadcast.

Verstappen's daughter to be F1's first female world champion?

Brundle then asked: "We talk often about wanting, and there's so many championships, to get an incredible female Formula One racer. Has she just been born?"
Horner then made the comparison with racehorses, emphasising - jokingly so - the importance of DNA in performance.
"I've been getting into horses over the last few years, and when you look at the bloodlines, that's what it's all about. You look at the DNA of a Verstappen and a Piquet, there's seven World Championships between them. It might not be a bad idea."
