Lando Norris claimed the 2025 Drivers’ Championship in the final race of the campaign at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and congratulations have continued to pour in from fellow drivers following his maiden title.

The McLaren driver, who became just the 35th individual to win the Drivers’ Championship, pipped Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen by two points to claim the highly coveted crown.

Norris had long been locked in a duel with teammate Oscar Piastri, who led the championship for 15 rounds of the season, before having to weather a late resurgence from Verstappen and the Red Bull Racing outfit to secure the 2025 title.

While his path to glory was far from straightforward, Norris’ triumph has sparked an outpouring of praise from drivers across the grid. Some congratulated the 26-year-old in person at Yas Marina, while others took to social media to celebrate his remarkable achievement.

Earlier, Norris shared footage from his championship celebrations on his social media.

The McLaren driver, who had promised to party hard, indeed stayed true to his word, enjoying a celebration that lasted until 5 a.m. Norris also accompanied his carousel post with a caption subtly reflecting on the essence of his celebrations.

The British driver’s title success marked the first McLaren Drivers’ Championship win since Lewis Hamilton in the 2008 campaign.
