Scuderia Ferrari have offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Charles Leclerc completing his seat fitting as preparations continue ahead of the launch of their SF-26 challenger.
The Monegasque driver, who is set to embark on his eighth season with the Italian outfit, has now ticked off another key pre-season milestone as the start of the new campaign edges ever closer.
In a series of images shared across Ferrari’s social media platforms, Leclerc is seen stepping into the cockpit for the fitting before later climbing back out.

The photos were accompanied by the caption: “You know the season is starting when there is a seat fit 👇 @Charles_Leclerc.”
Leclerc’s seat fitting follows Ferrari’s recent unveiling of its new race suits for both the eight-time Grand Prix winner and team-mate Lewis Hamilton. The new design features subtle white detailing, adding extra vibrancy to the iconic red colours.
Ferrari are set to formally unveil their SF-26 car on Friday, 23 January, before taking it out for its maiden shakedown at the Fiorano circuit.
Earlier, Leclerc revealed the modification he made to his race helmet for the upcoming campaign. The eight-time Grand Prix winner, in the unveiling of his lid, highlighted the baby-blue effect he featured on his race helmet for the season.
Explaining the change, Leclerc noted that blue has always been one of his favourite colours, adding that the new detail gives the helmet a very cool appearance.
