Lando Norris and Max Verstappen had a small talk during an interview of the Dutchman after the Dutch Grand Prix. The two had a little fun with each other.
For Norris, the race ended dramatically. The Brit's car broke down towards the end of the Grand Prix. His McLaren had an oil leak, so he could not keep driving. As a result, Verstappen moved up to P2, while Isack Hadjar moved up to P3.
After the race, when Verstappen was talking with Viaplay, Norris was waiting for his interview.
Asked if the two wanted to say something to each other, the Brit said: "Nice move in turn 2." Verstappen responded: "I was a bit of a drift. There was a bit of sand there."
The two also briefly discussed Norris's dropout. Verstappen asked the McLaren driver: "New engine, next week? A bit more power? Norris responded with clenched fists.
Then they talked yet again about Verstappen's drift in turn 2. Norris said: "I was actually hoping you [would hit Piastri]." Verstappen responded with a laugh: "I tried!"
