Piquet felt 'a mini heart attack' when temporarily leaving baby Lily

The Brazilian was invited to talk about being an influencer, sharing afterwards how difficult it was for her to leave her newborn baby behind.

Piquet was a guest at an event in Lisbon to talk about her influencer work and the power of digital storytelling, something the 36-year-old is very knowledgeable about with her two million Instagram followers.

After the event, Piquet shared her experience of the event on the same social media platform, and although she really enjoyed speaking, it was very hard for her to leave baby Lily behind.

"Thank you for having me. It wasn't easy to leave my one-month-old daughter for a few hours, but it was a pleasure to speak in Lisbon yesterday (despite almost having a mini heart attack)," read the caption.

The Brazilian also spoke with the media for the first time during the event, talking to a Portuguese media outlet about family life with Verstappen. Interestingly, she talked about being married to an F1 driver. This slip of the tongue reignited engagement rumours about the two again.

Piquet also told the media how hard it was to leave Lily behind, with the baby now around six weeks old. Kelly will be taking it easy for a while and focusing on the newborn baby.

The exact birthday of Lily still remains unclear. Max Verstappen missed the media day during the Miami Grand Prix, but it soon became clear that the little one was not born that Thursday. At various media moments, the Dutchman spoke about having a nice few days with the baby. The birthdate of Piquet's first daughter, Penelope, is known. Perhaps over time, more clarity will also come about Lily's birthdate.
