
Mercedes received a hefty fine after the pit lane incident involving Kimi Antonelli and Yuki Tsunoda.
The two drivers made contact in the pit lane during FP3. As Antonelli left his garage, the Red Bull Racing driver was already in the fast lane, and the rookie couldn't avoid making contact.
Over the team radio, Antonelli was surprised himself. He said: "Ah man, Yuki... You told me yes and it was... Tsunoda was coming."

The stewards have now shared their decision on the incident: Mercedes was received a €10,000 fine.

The Grove-based team was also under investigation after the session for an unsafe release involving Alexander Albon and Esteban Ocon. They received a fine of €5,000 for that incident.
