This weekend, the penultimate edition of the Dutch GP is on the schedule. For the fans, it's a big orange party, and according to an F1 colleague, it is for Max Verstappen too.
The Formula 1 summer break is over, and the next Grand Prix on the calendar is the Dutch GP. The race weekend in the Netherlands is always characterised by a lot of Max Verstappen fans in orange. The atmosphere is always good with lots of music and fun.
Max Verstappen confirmed this, too. During the media day in the Dutch seaside resort, he explained how he can enjoy the Dutch fans. “Definitely brings a smile on my face, when I’m driving or even driving out of the pit box. Seeing that amount of orange always is very special."
According to the Red Bull Racing driver, the weekend in Zandvoort is more than just a race. "It's not only about the driving – it's quite a bit of a party going on those three days.”
F1 colleague and good friend Gabriel Bortoleto then joked that for Verstappen, it's not all about the driving. “It’s more of a party for you,” the Sauber driver said.
“Unfortunately, not for me,” Verstappen responded. “They always seem to have a great time, and I think that's also very important when you come to a Grand Prix,” said the Dutchman.
