The Miami Grand Prix has secured its spot on the Formula 1 calendar until 2041. It is not the only one, with the Mexico City Grand Prix also recently extended. Here is how long the current circuits will remain on the F1 calendar.
With its recent contract extension, the Miami Grand Prix now holds the longest contract for a current Formula 1 circuit. GPblog confirmed that there will be 24 Grand Prix on the 2026 calendar, which means some races are in trouble.
Las Vegas and Imola are the only two circuits whose contracts expire this year. With only one slot left, it is almost certain that Imola will be the one to go—unless they agree to become a rotational track. However, it could be possible that Barcelona is replaced completely by Madrid, and another slot opens up.
