The partner of the four-time world champion shared a few snaps from their Valentine’s Day on her Instagram profile, with the couple opting for Florence as their destination.

Alongside a photo showing her kissing Verstappen, she also shared several more shots on her Instagram Stories, including moments spent with friends she enjoyed the weekend with.

For the Dutchman, it is a short break between the two Bahrain testing sessions, with the first having wrapped up on February 13 and the Red Bull driver set to be back in action in two days’ time for the second and final session at Sakhir, which will bring pre-season running to a close.

Kelly Piquet stands for strong message with new social media post

The daughter of former Brazilian Formula 1 world champion Nelson Piquet, shared a powerful message on social media a few days earlier, this time turning the spotlight on inequality.

The Brazilian model continues to use her platform to speak out on issues she cares deeply about in front of her large following. In a recent Instagram story, Piquet reshared a message from Ms Rachel, strongly criticising a system in which vast personal wealth can coexist with children still going hungry, describing it as a form of abuse.
