There are still about ten days left in the summer break, with the Dutch Grand Prix in between, but Ferrari is already getting ready to welcome its fans in the best possible way ahead of its home race at Monza.
Just recently, in fact, the Maranello team released a short teaser on its social media channels, featuring Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc sharing a few brief words about what it means to drive at Monza.
In the post, whose caption reads “Monza 2025, coming soon,” there are also a few clips of Niki Lauda, following the style of a campaign launched a few days ago on Ferrari’s Instagram account celebrating the 1975 season, when the former Austrian driver won the World Championship at Monza.
Frederic Vasseur has recently signed a multi-year contract extension with Ferrari, ending a period rife with speculation about the future of the French team principal. According to him, much of the rumor mill is fueled by the media, a phenomenon also experienced by Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing.
Vasseur has led Ferrari since 2023. While the Italian team has made notable improvements in strategic decision-making since his arrival, the car is still not performing at the level the Scuderia desires. This season, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have yet to secure a victory.
In recent months, speculation regarding Vasseur’s future had been mounting. To put the matter to rest, Ferrari has confirmed that the Frenchman has signed a new multi-year contract.
In conversation with Auto, Motor und Sport, the Ferrari team boss spoke about the recent period that saw him under the spotlight of media pressure.
