After a tough race in Netherland at Zandvoort, Charles Leclerc is ready to hit the track again at Monza for Ferrari's home race. Will the SF-25 give to Charles the needed competivity?

Ferrari had one of the worst weekend so far in Netherlands, the SF25 wasn't competitive as McLaren and Red Bull to catch the podium, Lewis Hamilton ended his race in the wall at turn 3 and at the same turn Charles Leclerc was hitted by Kimi Antonelli scoring a double zero for the Scuderia.

Ferrari and Leclerc's ambitions in Monza

Charles Leclerc is already looking forward to the Ferrari's home GP, the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Here the Monegasque got two wins in 2019 and 2024. The first one came after winning in Belgium and fighting for Lewis Hamilton for the whole race, the second one arrived after a masterclass in tyre management, which allowed Charles to do one stop less than McLarens and get the win.

Charles also knows that in Monza everyone cheers for Ferrari and for him: "On that I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to be a very busy week, but I'm looking forward to it because it's a lot of positive energy starting from Tuesday, in Milan, with a few events, Wednesday and then Thursday at the track. We have always a lot of support, so I'm looking forward to it.'

The Monegasque driver also told, to the media in Zandvoort, that everything can happen in Monza: 'I think this track (Zandvoort, ndr) has everything that our car hates. I think that Monza is more positive. Whether it's a track where we can target a win, I don't think so, because I still think McLaren is going to be incredible there, but never say never. I mean, last year I would have never thought that we could fight for a win. Let's see. '
