Lewis Hamilton will start the Canadian Grand Prix from P5, a position he believes he could've improved on had Ferrari chosen the 'right strategy.' Speaking to Sky Sports, Hamilton summarised his race weekend in Canada, and found the SF-25 lacking in pace. "We did the best we could with set-up," he said.
"We have been working flat out all weekend trying to get it to go quicker but I just don't think the car's going to go that much faster. I definitely don't think we can compete with the guys at the front and we just have to accept that that's the way it is," added Hamilton ruling out any potential chances of a win on merit at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Hamilton denies Leclerc's pole chances
After qualifying P8, Charles Leclerc balked at what according to him was a missed chance for pole after he ran into the dirty air in Isack Hadjar's Racing Bull's wake. Hamilton, however, disagrees with his younger teammate.
"Charles was on a good start of his lap, obviously didn't finish it, maybe there was a couple of more tenths there but it wouldn't put us on the front row."
Hamilton then questioned Ferrari's strategy going into the last part of qualifying, much like Leclerc, albeit if for a different reason.
"But also the other guys had the medium tyre, which I'm not really sure why we didn't consider it. We thought that the soft, or we were told that the soft, was the better one so that's what we went with."
